Success Stories
"I have had an overall awesome experience with Dr. Sarah Campese. I had never tried acupuncture before and I was slightly skeptical due to other physical therapy and holistic techniques I have done in the past that gave me results but were not long lasting.I am telling you, my back issues and sacrum issues have improved immensely, and I was impressed by only going a handful of times and reaping the benefits from her services. She was kind and attentive and very warm, friendly, and very professional. I knew I was in good hands!I recommend Dr. Sarah Campese to anyone who wants long lasting improvements!" - CC
"Seeing Dr. Sarah has been wonderful for my healing journey! Being a massage therapist and a student, I had a lot of wrist pain and she helped alleviate it time and time again. She also helped calm my anxiety, improve my depression, digestion, and energy. Also, taking her herbal formula helped my rare skin condition considerably. She is very knowledgeable, down to earth, relatable, and a good listener; which I believe is very important in a healthcare provider." - CG
"I went to see Sarah for acupuncture for two main reasons: wrist pain and menstrual discomfort. I am a massage therapist and I work with my hands all the time and my wrist pain is making it difficult to care for and work with my clients. I could feel my shoulders and chest releasing tension as I received the treatment and after my second appointment, I was no longer suffering from wrist pains. My treatments for my menstrual cramps/discomfort took a little longer to get under control. She was there to help me through the journey, taking notes and asking how my cycles were in between sessions. With her in-depth knowledge she helped my body get back in a normal cycle and without any more painful cramps that completely disturbed my day. The supplements and acupuncture changed my life for the better and I'm very grateful for her care and support." - KR
"I was a patient of Dr. Campese for over a year. I am very pleased to say that she was great and I'm not a person who will claim that unless it's true. She realizes that the human body works all together and she treats with intention. I have been to other Doctors who use acupuncture and they were OK but she was the best." - MS
"Dr. Sarah Campese is an extremely talented and compassionate practitioner. She takes the time to learn about and care for people. I have witnessed her go above and beyond to give exceptional care and advocate for her patients many times. Acupuncture is an invaluable treatment option for a wide range of conditions, and there is no other practitioner I’d want to see other than Dr. Sarah!" -MP
"Dr. Campese was my first acupuncture experience and I was nervous! She explained everything and made me feel super comfortable. After my procedure I felt relaxed and had less pain. Highly recommended!" - CS
"I have suffered for many years with chronic pain and tremors due to a neurological condition called Cervical Dystonia. In another desperate attempt to find relief for my chronic pain, I contacted Dr. Campese. Initially, I didn't know what to expect or if I'd get any relief. I met with Dr. Campese for an initial consult and she really took the time to assess my condition. She asked a lot of questions and went in depth to find out what I'd already tried, where my pain was, when it was at its worst and what I hoped for with our sessions. I don't know if I've had a doctor spend that much time with me to really gauge my issues. I felt at ease with her from the very beginning. She explained her plan of action and how she would execute my treatment. I think the biggest thing was that she never "kept me on the hook" to keep paying for treatment. She explained that if we didn't get results within the first couple of visits, she would encourage me to move on to other types of treatment. She truly believes in her craft and she makes you feel hopeful. I think she truly cares about her patients and invests herself in your care. I feel lucky to have found her." -LK

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many treatments will I need?A: The course of treatment is individualized for each person, and depends on the condition being treated. A course of treatment can vary from 4 to 10 treatments, and for some conditions multiple courses of treatment may be necessary. Dr. Campese will discuss recommendations and go over your options at your initial consultation.
Q: How long is an acupuncture appointment?A: An acupuncture treatment visit lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Q: How do I prepare for my acupuncture session? What should I wear?A: Ideally, eat a little something before your appointment, just so you aren't coming in on an empty stomach. It is helpful (but not required) to wear or bring loose-fitting or easily removable clothing; shorts and sweats work great. Other than that, just come as you are!
Q: What does acupuncture feel like?A: Most people find acupuncture to be very comfortable and relaxing. A variety of sensations can accompany treatment, including heaviness, tingling, warmth, and others. The needles themselves are so thin that many first-time patients are surprised by how little (if any) discomfort is present.
Q: Is acupuncture safe?A: Acupuncture is incredibly safe. We utilize sterile, single-use needles which are disposed of after they are removed. The complication rate is incredibly low. It's probably the safest thing you'll do today!
Q: Do you accept insurance?A: We are out of network for all insurance providers. From our experience, insurance will rarely authorize or reimburse for the services our patients need. By cutting out the third party, we are able to provide more affordable care, better standards of treatment, and ensure that you are the one making decisions regarding your healthcare.
